When Ptolemy Mann and Julian Blair (co-founder of Rugmaker) first met they discovered a shared passion for exquisite, hand made rugs. Deciding to bring together their respective expertise to create the most beautiful rugs possible has become an inspiring journey. Ptolemy’s elegant and colourful designs which express her unique ikat signature – alongside Rugmaker’s 30 years extensive knowledge of the manufacturing process worldwide meant they could create a truly stunning collection of original rugs.
Each year Ptolemy Mann and Rugmaker travel to India to meet their masterweavers and dyers to explore new ideas and designs. This unique relationship focusing on technique allows them to collaborate and perfect this artisan process.

Indian Gelims 2019 new collection.

At Surface design from February 5th – 7th and then in Santa Monica California Friday 22nd March – Sunday 24th
Next year sees the launch of our new Indian gelims designed and coloured by Ptolemy Mann . These pieces are hand made in Indian from 100% wool and are double sided. They come in standard sizes 2.40 x 1.70 and 3.00 x 2.40 but can also be custom made to your desired size.
They will be seen at Surface design from February 5th – 7th and then in Santa Monica California Friday 22nd March – Sunday 24th
