Under Your Feet: The Contemporary Rug

24 April  - 14 July 2019

A contemporary rug exhibition in a public gallery is a lesser-spotted occurrence these days. ‘Under Your Feet: The Contemporary Rug’, is a rug exhibition in Wales, displaying rugs by nineteen new and established makers are freshly hung at Ruthin Craft Centre in Wales and can be seen there until 14 July. All of us at Rug-Maker wish the show and the designers every success.

Turkish Distressed Rugs

We have introduced a new collection this year of Distressed Turkish rugs with 2 million tufts per sq meter. 
The pile has a silky finish in two heights to give the aged worn appearance. 
The rugs come in six sizes and seven designs - see more information under our rug portfolio.

Surface Design Show London

Rug Maker exhibited at the Surface Design Show, Business Centre, Islington, London.  From 6th - 7th February 2019 . 

Visitors loved the  Modern Distressed Turkish rugs ( see designs on this web site under rug portfolio). Also the new designs in flatweaves from Ptolemy Mann. 

2019 Indian Gelim collection

2019 sees the launch of our new Indian gelims designed and coloured by Ptolemy Mann . These pieces are hand made in Indian from 100% wool and are double sided. They come in standard sizes 2.40 x 1.70 and 3.00 x 2.40 but can also be custom made to your desired size.

They will be seen at Surface design from February 5th – 7th and then in Santa Monica California Friday 22nd March – Sunday 24th
